We had a fantastic Armed Forces Day in 2025 at our new venue, Morganians Rugby Club.  We are delighted that they will be hosting us again in 2026 on Saturday 27th June.

Visitors can look forward to an impressive Battle of Britain Exhibition, featuring a full-size replica Spitfire, alongside a thrilling flypast of vintage fighter aircraft.  History enthusiasts will enjoy watching The Sealed Knot re-enact the English Civil War Defence of Bridgwater, while military displays across the site will include a range of historic military vehicles and a fascinating WWII Nissan Hut exhibition. The Slackline School will be with us this year giving you the opportunity to try out and discover more about this special, fun and productive activity.

There will be live performances throughout the day, including: The Bideford Pipe and Drum Band, Chrystal Bliss performing popular songs from the 1940s, Somerset Police Male Voice Choir and The Sea Cadet Band.

We are also pleased to welcome back Sedgemoor FM, who will be providing live coverage and keeping visitors informed and entertained throughout the day.

 There is a large area for parking available.  For those who prefer not to drive, we have a courtesy bus service provided by SPS buses.

Please note that not all stallholders will be able to accept card payments, so visitors are encouraged to bring cash where possible.

During parts of the event there will be loud battle re-enactments and sound effects. Advance warnings will be given over the loudspeaker system before these take place.

Please Note DOGS (apart from Service Dogs) will not be allowed onto the site.

We warmly encourage all veterans and serving personnel to wear their berets and medals.  You are also invited to take part in the Closing Ceremony.

Standard Bearers are very welcome to attend and take part in the opening and closing ceremonies.
